1988 DOMINATOR GTC

The prototype Dominator GTC #001 started its journey in October of 2022. The base car for the build was a car located by J Bittle in Southern California. His deep knowledge and understanding of the Fox Body platform led him to a 1988 ascMcLaren Mustang, #809 of just 1806 ascMcLaren's built. Starting with such a rare base car obviously created many obstacles. First and foremost the sourcing of OEM parts to restore the ascMcLaren elements that would remain on the first Dominator GTC build. Add to that J's vision was to create the first Dominator GTC out of a convertible! This too created a set of variables that he and his engineering team solved in short order. But when the team at JBA Speed Shop completed the build, it was clear, a new era of Domination was released. Suspension, Drivetrain, Brakes & a JBA Built 347ci Stroker motor bolted to a 5 speed set the stage for many Dominators to come.
